Two GSCM Gold Awardees Recognized by the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
Two Maryland Girl Scouts have been recognized by the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, a nationwide program that honors young people for outstanding community service.
Caitlin Myers, of Crofton Maryland, will receive a state-level Certificate of Excellence for her volunteer efforts. Christina Antonini of Edgewater, named one of Maryland’s top two youth volunteers in the 16th annual Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, will receive a $1,000 award, an engraved silver medallion and a trip to Washington, D.C. to attend special recognition events in early May.
The awards program, conducted by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), only recognizes 102 young people nationwide.
