Maryland Lawmakers Become Honorary Girl Scouts
Female members of the Maryland State Legislature were inducted into honorary Girl Scout troop 1920, the Capital reported. The troop, which was named for the year American women got the right to vote, is the first of its kind in Annapolis. The senators and delegates who were inducted, many of whom were Girl Scouts in their youth, were pinned by Girl Scouts at a ceremony in the Maryland House Office Building.
