GSCM Scout Attends Town Hall Meeting with Secretary of the Interior

Yesterday, Girl Scout Ambassador Brianna met with the Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Judge Catherine O’Malley, and GSUSA CEO Anna Maria Chavez during a town hall meeting at the Maryland Women’s Heritage Center. The meeting focused on saving women’s historical sites across the nation and ensuring the history of women is preserved and shared.  

Girl Scout Troop 1241 Named Oakland Mills Volunteers of the Year

Girl Scout Troop 1241 have been selected by the Oakland Mills Board of Directors as the 2012 Oakland Mills Volunteers of the Year. Girl Scout Troup Leader Rebecca Conover and troop members Kara, Grace, Anna, Liza, Mia, Rachel, Jessica, Rebecca, Virginia, Kaitlyn, Rupini, Leticia and parent assistants Karen Lampron and Jamie Murphy, have volunteered at the Oakland Mills Community Association for the past seven years.
