Join Girl Scouts of Central Maryland Tuesday, October 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the GSCM headquarters, 4806 Seton Drive, Baltimore MD, 21215, to celebrate the grand opening of GSCM’s new STEM Center! Funding from two State Bond Bills and a generous donation from Northrop Grumman has helped transform Council Headquarters from an office to a full service program and training center for girls and adults.
Come check out the new dance/exercise studio, test kitchen, and more. Enjoy food prepared by local chefs, including Jason Ambrose of Salt Tavern, Daniel Elardo of Zeffert & Gold Catering, Jaime Luna of Mari Luna, Bryan Montz of Greenmount Station, and Rev. Ed Robinson of Agapé House. Meet Senator Katherine Klausmeier, Miss Maryland, and members of the Baltimore Blast. Participate in demonstrations of GSCM’s Healthy Living Initiative and Tech Bridge programs, climb the rock wall, meet snakes, spiders and other critters from Camp Illchester, and more!
The official ribbon cutting will be at 6 p.m. RSVP to Clarke Fitzmaurice. Call 410.358.9711 or e-mail cfitzmaurice@gscm.org. Hope to see you there!
