Crofton Girl Scout troop 1551 sweetened the welcome-home celebration for U.S. soldiers returning from their tours of duty, the Capital reported. The Girl Scouts welcomed the soldiers by cheering, holding signs and passing out boxes of Girl Scout cookies as they disembarked at BWI Airport, the Capital reported. The boxes of cookies were donated through the “Gift of Caring” program.
