Girl Scout Linda Redd’s winning patch design for Girl Scouts of Central Maryland’s World Thinking Day event earned her a ride in a pink limousine, the Maryland Gazette reported. Redd took her parents and five friends on the celebratory ride, which included a stop at the park, a cruise through Glen Burnie, and a grand entrance at a party at her house, the article said. Redd’s patch design was given to hundreds of girls who attended the World Thinking Day event.
