Girl Scout Samantha Smith shaved her head in a public ceremony to show her support for pediatric cancer research, the Capital reported. The teen let go of her locks during the St. Baldrick’s Foundation Shave-A-Thon in Annapolis after promising to if she made her $6,000 fundraising goal for St. Baldrick’s.
