Chesapeake Bay Foundation Hosts Troop 10324

Two weeks ago we posted a story about troop 10324 and their efforts to save the Chesapeake Bay by writing letters to the 21 state attorneys general who have joined the lawsuit that, if successful, would derail Chesapeake Bay clean-up efforts. Since this post the girls were invited to visit the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) for a day of fun and learning in appreciation for their hard work.

Each girl was presented with a plaque by CBF President William Baker. They also spent the day doing a scavenger hunt, catching fish and other critters to learn about biodiversity, swimming in the bay and more!

While they were there the @chesapeakebay twitter was keeping us in the loop with the activities of the day. Check out the tweets below!
