Girl Scout Roxine volunteered at the LPGA International Crown Tournament at the Caves Golf Club in Owings Mills, July 22-27.
In an effort to increase girls’ interest in golf the LPGA and the USGA formed Girls Golf—a program that introduces girls to golf and their 5E’s program: Empower, Enrich, Engage, Exercise, Energize. While volunteering, Roxine met LPGA golfers, expanded her knowledge of golf and learned about golf scholarships for girls and young women.
