What’s the Travel Pathway All About?
The Travel Pathway is comprised of more than a dozen travel groups from all over Central Maryland that are planning trips to Girl Scout destinations around the world. We’ve visited three of the World Centers–Our Chalet in Switzerland, Our Cabana in Mexico and Pax Lodge in London. Each year groups travel to Savannah to visit the birthplace of our founder, Juliette Gordon Low.
We believe that any girl should be able to travel to the places of most interest in Girl Scouts. For us to continue to offer these great opportunities, please support the events in this year’s GS411 that are sponsored by our travel groups. Each group works hard to provide a fantastic event for you while developing the leadership skills of the older girls running the events.
Daisies and Brownies can meet us at our events and as they get older, they can join us for travel opportunities. We form new travel groups each year; leaders, we need you to head these groups!
We have some groups right now with openings for trips in 2016 and 2017, and another Savannah group just forming.
