For her Girl Scout Gold Award project, Siena supplied 75 kits of essential baby items for mothers in need through FoodLink, an organization that supports the working poor living in Anne Arundel County. Siena increased awareness about the growing poverty rate in her community through a video presentation and various public speaking events. To ensure that her project is continued, Siena created an instruction manual for other Girl Scout troops and organizations to use to make baby item kits in the future.
