GSCM volunteer Tiffanny Cianci is inviting Girl Scouts –Brownies through Ambassadors–to realize their unique beauty at a special event taking place May 23rd, at the Roger Carter Community Center. The  event will be filled with seminars that focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Each age appropriate seminar is aimed at improving Girl Scout’s overall well-being and promoting a positive body image.

Girl Scouts are Beautiful – Inside & Out

Community partners participating in the event include: Hope Works of Howard County, NAMI, The Body Image Center, Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, University of Maryland, Pediatric Partners, Kids Super Smile Pediatric Dentistry and Under Armour.

All Girls will receive two healthy snacks and a healthy lunch as part of the program. In addition they will receive a patch for attending the event. After the event they can stay behind to work out or join us for free time in the pool. They also take home a bag full of health happy goodies & SWAG.
