Troop 10029 hosted a mystery dinner with an Alice in Wonderland theme on Friday, May 20th. Girls from Service Unit 697 were invited to attend.
Girls chose three courses of coded menu items for their meal (for instance vanilla ice cream with red sprinkles was named “painting the roses red”) and each girl had her own unique dining experience since her choices were her own. Some girls got ice cream for their first course, others picked no utensils. The complete menu included salad, spaghetti with meatballs, apples, and ice cream with sprinkles. The hall was decorated in the Alice in Wonderland theme. Girls also decorated their own Mad Hatter hats and made white roses that they “painted” in the colors of their choice. Swaps were exchanged (and wow! they were cute and creative).
Girls also receivedĀ a custom fun patch. Reviews from the girls and parents were entirely positive and we are looking forward to planning another mystery dinner event in the future!
