On July 23rd, despite the blistering heat, Troop 2 headed to Washington, DC for a day of site seeing. Troop 2 was prepared with lots of sunscreen and liquids.
Everyone in the troop loved seeing the home of our President and First Lady.
They stayed cool by touring the museums and later gathered at the Capitol Building to take an “inside the government” group tour before the upcoming 6-week renovation.
The tour was amazing and the guide made sure to include facts about Maryland’s state history.
