Trying to decide what kind of summer camp is right for your first-time camper?
While there’s no hard and fast rule for when she should be ready, these quizzes ask some important questions that can help you make this exciting (and sometimes daunting) decision!

Results:
16 – 24 You would enjoy a day camp, but it might be a good idea to wait until next year for resident/overnight camp.
25 – 34 You might enjoy a Mini Camp or Camper Sampler program with a buddy.
35 – 48 You must be an experienced camper! It sounds like your ready for resident camp!

Results:
11 – 16 It might be a good idea for you to wait until next year to send your daughter to resident camp. Day camp is a good option. You may benefit from giving your daughter smaller opportunities to exercise independence before she leaves home for several days.
17 – 24 You are ready to send your daughter to camp for a Mini Camp or Camper Sampler session. You may feel more confident if you attend the open house and follow tips in the Parent Guide (sent with the confirmation packet).
25 – 33 You are ready to send your daughter to resident camp sessions that last a week. You are confident in her abilities and are willing to help prepare her for camp.
