Welcome a new Girl Scout to your Troop!

Did your troop have a fantastic year? Consider opening your troop for additional girls to join your troop and experience all the exiting things your troop does. Having new girls in a troop allows both the new girl and current girls in the troop to have a full Girl Scout experience. You can open your troop to additional girls by joining the Opportunity Catalog. The opportunity catalog lets parents and girls search for open spaces in troops. They simply input their zip code or a specific troop number to search.Troop leaders need to fill out a short survey to have their troop participate. Troop leaders, click here to fill out the survey.

Adventures Powered by the Girl Scout Cookie Sale

Kalahari Resort

After a successful 2016-2017 Cookie Sale, 14 goal-getter Girl Scouts earned a trip to Kalahari Resort for a fun filled overnight adventure in Pocono Manor, PA. Each of the girls in attendance sold 1,500 or more boxes of cookies during the 2016-2017 Cookie Sale. These super selling girls  described the resort as “Awesome!” “Great!” “Exciting and so much more than they thought it would be.”

Wisp Ski Resort
Earlier this year, eight of the ten girls who sold 2000+ boxes of cookies in the 2016-2017 cookie sale enjoyed an overnight snow tubing adventure at Wisp Ski Resort in Garrett County, MD.

When asked why she set her goal to sell 2,000 boxes, Lillianna W., a Brownie Girl Scout, screamed with the utmost excitement, “BECAUSE I WANTED TO GO SNOW TUBING!” Her mom said, “I told her I would take her snow tubing, she didn’t have to sell that many cookies.” Lillianna’s response was swift and confident, “I wanted to EARN it and I did.”
