Girl Scout Cadette Evelyn B. knows that with knowledge and practice, even the youngest Girl Scouts can be helpful in an emergency situation. That’s why, after she recently had the opportunity to sit in on a meeting with community leaders where they discussed emergency procedures and practices, Evelyn took what she learned back to her troop. Together the girls used the information to create posters to share with younger Girl Scouts.
Community leaders in attendance included Baltimore City Police Commissioner Kevin Davis, Chief Ganesha Martin, and 911 supervisors.
Way to take the lead like a Girl Scout, Evelyn!
