MD Commission for Women Listening Tour

Calling all Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors!

Join us, along with the Maryland Commission for Women, on November 6th from 6-8pm at McDaniel College for the Voices of Maryland Women Listening Tour.

Teen girls and young women across the state are invited to speak to the Maryland Commission for Women and Girl Scouts of Central Maryland about the challenges they face as young women, and what would make their lives better.

We want to hear from the young women of Maryland, in their own words, about the needs and concerns they face in their everyday lives.

Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.

Join the GSCM Robotics Team!

GSCM’s 2017-2018 First Lego League robotics team will soon start. We invite Juniors – Cadettes to join the team, have some competitive fun using the LEGO MINDSTORM EV3 robot set to program robots and score points while creating innovative solutions to a problem in their community.  Join the fun and earn the GSCM robotics patch while working toward some of the new Girl Scout robotics and engineering badges. Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey. Upon completion, you will be automatically enrolled in our Alumnae Association. GSCM Alumnae Association members will receive quarterly e-newsletters with updates on what our Girl Scouts are doing today and invitations to special events.

As announced at the SU Kick off, we want to see 55% of our troops using the VTK! This awesome toolkit helps make your lives easier and more organized, plus it has awesome new material on it for your girls! It even has downloadable Outdoor Journeys available for Girl Scout Cadettes and up!

There are 15 days left for leaders who use the VTK to earn their earn a Leaders patch! Complete this survey and submit your VTK troop roster in order to earn your FREE Patch, which will be distributed at the January Service Unit meetings.

In order to gain access to the VTK, you must have a 2018 adult membership, an up-to-date Background Check and be a troop leader or co-leader!
