Celebrate Black History Month with the Racial Justice Patch Program
In honor of Black History Month, we encourage troops and girls to learn about the many cultures and races that are a part of our country and to encourage conversation about the commonalities and differences of the citizens of our country. The Racial Justice Patch, which was developed through a partnership between the YWCA and GSCM is a great way for girls to do this and suggests activities (visiting local museums and monuments) that add fun to the discovery process.

Show your love for all G.I.R.L.s during our Family Partnership Campaign
It takes $220 annually to serve each Girl Scout in central Maryland. Membership fees are only $35 of that total amount. A gift to Family Partnership provides your daughter and other girls across our region a place to become a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™.
Membership, program, and camp fees are kept at a low price for all due to the money raised through Family Partnership. Camp maintenance, volunteer training, and financial aid are all made possible when Girl Scout families participate in Family Partnership.
This year, the GSCM Family Partnership Campaign will run from March 15 through May 15. Incentives for families, troops and service units that participate will be announced soon.
We feel very lucky to have such strong, passionate supporters of Girl Scouting. You are the ones who truly know the power of every G.I.R.L.! We hope that you will consider giving at whatever level you can during the Family Partnership Campaign. We know that you want to change the world by investing in girls.
