New Renewal Incentives Announced!

Your family could win a one-year membership to the National Aquarium!

Welcome back to all our girl members and volunteers who have renewed their Girl Scout membership during the Early Bird Renewal Campaign, which ended on July 16. We appreciate your participation in the campaign and are thrilled to have you join us for what promises to be another fantastic year of Girl Scouting!

We are happy to share that in addition to qualifying to receive the Early Bird patch, all girl members who renewed during the campaign have been automatically entered into our Summer Renewal Blitz prize drawing. The drawing will be held at the end of September and three (3) girl members will receive a one-year family membership to the National Aquarium in Baltimore!

For girl members who haven’t yet had a chance to renew their membership, no worries…there is still plenty of time for them to renew their membership on-time for the start of the new Girl Scout year and Cookie Sale Program, which kicks off on September 15! We personally invite these girls to take part in our Summer Renewal Blitz which runs from August 15 through September 12, 2018. Girls who renew during this timeframe will automatically be entered into the drawing.

Girl Scouts is over 100 years old, and it gives girls amazing opportunities to learn, lead, and have fun. We camp, go on adventures, learn about STEM, provide service to our communities and make lifelong friends. Girl Scouts is the best place for a girl to just be a girl. Oh, and ONLY Girl Scouts get to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program! It is an experience not available to girls anywhere else!

As part of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, we learn about the importance of financial literacy, how to be responsible with money, and become entrepreneurs. The Girl Scout Cookie Program also teaches us FIVE very important life skills like:

  • goal setting
  • decision making
  • money management
  • people skills
  • business ethics

Additionally, 100% of the Cookie Program proceeds stay within the Council. Girls decide how to spend their troop proceeds to make the world a better place.
