Cookie Time is here!
It’s the SWEETEST time of the year! The Girl Scout Cookie program is a great council-led activity that not only allows girls to learn and hone entrepreneurial skills they’ll use throughout their lives, but also one that allows them to earn funds for troop activities. We are hoping for 100% participation in this skill-building, money-earning activity!
To ensure that your troop is ready to participate, please make sure:
- If you are a troop leader, you have an up-to-date background check and are registered for the 2020 Girl Scout year so that your registered troop members can gain access to the SmartCookies platform
- If you are a TCM, you are registered and background checked for 2020 and the TCM’s T-10 has been completed (online in the VTK)
- Your troop’s T-3 forms have been filled out (online in the VTK)
Feed Your Craving. Fuel Her Girl Scout Experiences.
It’s no secret that many of our customers buy Girl Scout Cookies for their drool-inducing, craving-worthy, deliciousness. This year, we’re encouraging customers to feed their craving because when they do, they’re also fueling amazing experiences for girls.
From outdoor adventure and leadership opportunities to STEM and entrepreneurship, cookie customers help make incredible things happen.
To increase cravings and have a bit of social media fun, we’ve created Girl Scout Cookie profile frames! Go to www.facebook.com/profilepicframes and search “GSCM” to find the frame that fits your #GSCookieCraving!
Get the latest GS 411!
A new GS411, filled with a year’s worth of exciting Girl Scout activities, is here!
We have added some new programming and new program partners to help every girl hone the skills she’ll use now and in the future.
This year our programming includes archeology activities, entrepreneurial workshops, movement sessions in the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland Program Center dance studio, architecture exploration, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra concerts, and 100 years of women’s right to vote celebrations.
For our outdoor explorers, we have new programs, patches, and badges — like Take Your Best Slingshot, target sports that include throwing tomahawks and a winter outdoor challenge. And, we hope many of you will make your way to Camp Conowingo to try out our new ropes course!
Our STEM programming continues to expand so girls can increase their competencies in the world of technology as this will be an important part of many careers in the future. We have something to offer whether girls like designing wooden vehicles or robots, thinking like a programmer or engineer, or want to soar in the iFly wind tunnel.

Insignia Price increase
Due to a rise in material and production cost, GSUSA has to increase the pricing on a number of insignia items. It has been approximately 4 years since any price change despite the fact that GSUSA has received incremental price increases from vendors. To show our appreciation to our customers, GSCM has decided to keep our current pricing through the end of the 2019 Girl Scout year. We will honor the current pricing for items purchased at our stores or via our store email gscmstore@gscm.org. We encourage you to take advantage of this special offer for items in stock only. Not applicable to backorder or online orders.
