2022 Magazine-Nut Program: Nuts, Candy & Magazines!
Troops earn proceeds and rewards from the sale of delicious nuts & candy, as well as magazines, to fund activities and adventures all online! Girls will register individually and create an avatar that looks like them and use email, social media, or texts to get online orders from family and friends. It’s easy and fun for the girls to learn e-commerce and e-marketing skills! Find out more about the Mag/Nut Program.

World Thinking Day 2022 — Our World, Our Equal Future: The Environment and Gender Equality

Join us for this day long celebration of Girl Scouting as we reflect on the World Thinking Day story and explore this year’s theme “Our World, Our Equal Future: The Environment and Gender Equality.” The opening ceremony will kick-off at 9:30AM, then Girls Scouts (D-J) will head down one path, while older Girl Scouts (C-A) will head down another.
Girl Scouts will receive their World Thinking Day badge and the Girl Scout Tree Promise Badge. Yes, this will be a long day, but it will be chock-full of information and good times! In addition to the badge and patch that girls will receive as part of this program, they will also earn the following:
Daisy: Petals, Digital Leadership, Democracy
Brownie: Digital Leadership, Philanthropist, Democracy
Junior: Digital Leadership, Playing the Past, Democracy
Cadette: Digital Movie Maker, Public Speaker, Tree
Senior: Digital Leadership, Social Innovator
Ambassador: Eco Advocate Badge, Digital Leadership

Leadership opportunities for Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors
GSCM CEO, Violet M. Apple, is inviting girls ages 13 years and older to apply to represent the council as a National Council Delegate at the GSUSA conference which will be held in Florida. Mental Health Mondays
Join the Say It Brave Collective on the 3rd Monday of each month to hear what mental health advocates have to say about important topics in mental health. Each month will take us on an inspiring journey toward mental wellness as we gather to discuss goals, challenges, and triumphs. It’s almost our 110th Birthday! Celebrate the upcoming Girl Scout Week with a Trefoil Quest and Birthday Boxes!
Let’s celebrate! On Saturday, March 12, 2022, Girl Scouts turns 110, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland turns 60 and the Trefoil is back on the main stage. This program will consist of the “GooseChase” with missions to complete at various locations throughout central Maryland (Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties, as well as Baltimore City). Your team can participate in your local area or take this quest to the max and adventure through the council footprint to complete as many missions as you can. Get tickets now! This year during Girl Scout Birthday Week, we’re sharing the fun with the goal of collecting items for Birthday Boxes for children in foster care.
