A new Girl Scout Cookie, Savannah Smiles, are being introduced this year as a tribute to Juliette Low’s birthplace in Savannah, GA,  the Brownie Smile Song, and to celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting. The new cookie  is a crescent-shaped, lemon flavored cookie that is dusted with powdered sugar and bursting with zesty lemon flavor. Girl Scouts Turn to Tech to Boost Cookie Sales

Girl Scouts of the USA announced Wednesday the launch of the official Cookie Finder App for the iPhone and iPod touch. The free app uses your  location to show you cookie sales nearby, which are sorted by date, radius, or you can view them all on a map. The app is just one of many ways Girl Scouts can use technology to their advantage during the Cookie selling season.
