More than 1,000 Girl Scouts, friends and family filled 1st Mariner Arena on Sunday to celebrate World Thinking Day, an annual Girl Scout event where girls participate in activities, games, and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries.
This year’s theme, Empowering Girls Will Change Our World, was showcased in several performances and displays about different cultures and countries, which also showed how girls live in different parts of the world.
